I'm sure all of you know by now that we're having a baby girl! And we're very excited!
We have decided on a name (of course that is always subject to change)
Lydia Mae.
What do you think?
I was starting to worry that we would never find a name. It seemed like we were always vetoing each others choices, but one day Eli mentioned Lydia Mae. I liked it at first, but now I LOVE it!
This picture was taken at 30 weeks. I am currently 32 weeks.
We were camping in Ninilchik at the time and the background was so beautiful I had to get a shot with it. :)
We are now in the 3rd trimester and our appointments are every 2 weeks! Two more visits and it'll be down to every week. I feel like time is going to fly by.
All our visits have been pretty routine. Check weight, blood pressure, any questions, then feel Baby and check her heartbeat. She has been pretty consistent with her heart rate being around 140-150.
I did get some "bad", no, more like not the greatest news after my labs at 28 weeks. My ferritin (iron stores) were pretty low which in turn makes my iron low and puts me at risk for being anemic. Not to mention that low iron kinda runs in the family. So now I am on supplements to help raise those levels. It explains why I have been tired lately and had no energy so it's good to know why and be able to do something about it.
That's about all on me and baby! Hoping that the next 2 months fly by! We can't wait to meet our sweet Lydia Mae. :)
I LOVE the name! So feminine and yet unique too with the "Mae". Love it.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're doing well, despite the iron supplement thing. It seems like it's fairly treatable? I sometimes wonder if I need to take an iron supplement and I'm not even pregnant. I know a lot of women are at higher risk to be anemic, so I should probably get on that. :/
I heard from Grandma about your cute new place and all about what Aiden's up to. So fun! Wish we could have been there with everyone!!
Miss y'all. Hope your Summer is going well....and can't wait to see pics of sweet baby Lydia!
Hugs,
Gail
It's fun to read this written update!! I hope the iron supplements give you more energy!
